The EP's sold poorly as they were just duplicates of the album material. As such, finding any of the 3 EP's these days is incredibly difficult. The EP 1 I have never seen and can not confirm what's on it, but know it's assigned to Scott Walker. The 3 is assigned to John Walker and contains Yesterday Reach Out I'll Be There Tell Me How Do You Feel and Watch Your Step. The Walker Brothers were an American pop group of the 1960s and 1970s that included Noel Scott Engel eventually known professionally as Scott Walker, John Walker born John Joseph Maus, but using the name Walker since his teens and Gary Leeds eventually known as Gary Walker. After moving to Britain in 1965, they had a number of top ten albums and singles there, including the No. 1 chart hits Make It Easy on Yourself and The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore, both of which also made the US top. Although the Walker Brothers broke up in the spring of 1967, and although Scott Walker had already released his first solo album later that year, the group reunited at the beginning of 1968 to make a brief one-off tour of Japan. Philips went all out to promote the solo work of the Walker Brothers to the Japanese market. To aid this process there was a series of 3 EP's assigned to each of the 'brothers' containing tracks pulled from their first 1968 gig as the Walker Brothers. This coincided with the release of the full concert on DLP. The EP's sold poorly as they were just duplicates of the album material. As such, finding any of the 3 EP's these days is incredibly difficult. The EP #1 I have never seen and can not confirm what's on it, but know it's assigned to Scott Walker. The #3 is assigned to John Walker SLF.3228 and contains Yesterday/ Reach Out I'll Be There/ Tell Me How Do You Feel and Watch Your Step.

These should not be confused with the 4 EP's in the "Best 4" series which are far more common and contain studio tracks from the various LP's. One of the joys of collecting and tracking down Japanese issues is the lack of information yet plethora of releases that totally saturated the market regardless of very poor sales.
